hand stitched by Mary - a celebration of our first 6 months...

My talented colleague Mary Akiror from ActionAid Uganda has made this wonderful hand embroidered awamu logo for us as a celebration of our first 6 months. THANK YOU MARY! Since we started in November (2010) we have raised well over £15,000 (much more if you add in the gift aid!).

We’re busy making sure this can be put into action and reach those children most in need immediately – we will update you shortly on how it is being used shortly so watch this space!

A massive thank you to everyone that has brought, given, sponsored, designed, photographed, volunteered, joined in, advised and generally been supportive....it's all in the name - we can only do this TOGETHER!
