Zoe and CNN come to visit Teddy

We've had some exciting visitors today! Zoe from Zoe's Ghana Kitchen visited with CNN to film Teddy at her fish and chip shop.

 Teddy was one of the first 100 women who received training from Awamu on the vital skills you need to start their own business.

She joined the savings group and went on to start her street food stand serving the best fish and chips in Kampala!

Her income has grown and she is now able to look after the children in her care including two foster children who she took after they lost their parents. What a hero!
