Community gardens to transform the lives of vulnerable children

Thanks to Avanade and the Aspire Foundation we can now build two community gardens that will ensure hundreds of children in the slums of Kampala won't have to go to bed hungry.

Watch our film to meet some of the women and children who will be involved in making this project happen. With support from Avanade and Aspire, Regina and Sarah will now be able to share their skills and knowledge with families like Milly's.

The children we work with will no longer feel hungry, they will be able to concentrate in school...they'll also learn how to run their own enterprise and start their own saving circles from the profit they make selling the excess vegetable.

We can't wait to get planting and show you how our gardens grow.
